Key Responsibilities
- Maintain administrative requirements and keep projects organized
- Multi-task several projects at once staying productive and efficient
- Communicate scheduling conflicts to your direct manager and provide solutions that enable you to complete your responsibilities
- Produce and/or oversee the selection and design of all FF&E, finishes and general design concept beginning with conceptual design taken through the phases of design development, construction documents, construction administration and installation
- Provide design solutions to guide fabrication consultants (custom furniture, soft goods, custom lighting, etc.). Review their shop drawings to ensure design intent is followed through
- Accommodate deadline expectations agreed to by both client and design team
- Coordinate with all or some of the following: private client, builder/GC, developer, and architect
- Occasionally present design ideas and details with confidence
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design
- 1-2 years’ experience preferred
